*threatens to slap with a smelly fish if you don't*

....Whoo.. This was fun to draw.. I dunno why, but I have decided that I like drawing peoples.. *shrug*
Sooo, it's not Tex Avery/Preston Blair's "Red" that I said I would draw buut, she could be a stunt double, right? ...
Truth be told, I couldn't remeber exactly what Red looked like... but I really like how this looks.. Everything's proportional, all that crap..

....Ummm, so, yea. Penciled on sketchpad with 0.5 mech. , and then colored with the PSP9 ... fun fun.

Hope you all dig! ...you wolves you...

EDIT
Added a third version of her, done in cell-shading style cuz the peoples over at CB [link] didn't like how the...umm, colored-over sketch looked. Though in my opinion, the last one is really crappy. I hate cell-shading stuff.. and moreso, lining it.. Now she looks a bit pudgy.

The colored-over sketch is my personal favorite.. I love how it looks...

ahhh what the? I thought I commented on this....damn DA...well I shall do so again for ya What I did say was that I like all of the pieces, and I think the cel shaded look truned out best. Gives that little extra "push" for that cartoony feel! Very nice work Kat!

Thank you muchly!! ...I'm glad you like them ^_^ .... Though I was sitting here staring at them yesterday, pondering why I loath the cell-shaded version, and it occured to me that generally in animation, black outlines are not used.. they're just too harsh or something... what do you think? Should I try using, umm, just a darker version of the picture's color pallete to outline things?...hrmm.. because other people I've asked have no opinion on the matter.. but it errks me to no end..

...DA has been misbehaving alot lately... they must be havin issues...

Not a prob Well I can give ya my thoughts and see if they can help any Ok well in traditional animation you are right, most of the time you do not see the thicker outline. Excpet nowadays cartoons are starting to use that thicker outline for a new sense of style that seems to be pretty hip, at least i hope so cuz then I will be hip! But anyways since you are trying to go for an older more toony cel shaded look I woudl try experimenting on thinning that line out. It can't hurt right? What you can do is color over that line, or even just take it out in photoshop if need be! I think you may be on to somethin so don't be afraid to experiment and see what happens! I persoanlly like the thicker line surrounding it, but thats just my style and opinion! Phew haha I hope that helped!
