Everyone's freaking out over Dumbeldalf but I'm trying to figure out if you intentionally slipped in a Douglas Adams reference.

I guess we'll never know
jk. It wasn't intentional, what even is the reference you're thinking of here? :'D

Douglas Adams wrote mostly science fiction, and one of his creatures in his books was the Babel fish. It's a tiny fish that you put in your ear and it translates whatever is being said in any other language to the one you're most fluent in. Perfect for intergalactic travelers meeting aliens!

I'm sad I didn't say it was a reference because that was a good one :'D

The movie made it look more like a fucked up seahorse, but here it is in action .
And I'm always down for catching literary references, even if they're unintentional!Β α( α )α

holy heck
GOOD. Because I can (hopefully) add references, but that some won't be as easily recognizable and others will be./I'll ofcourse tell if it was intentional or not :'Dc

Welp, if you want some intentional Hitchhiker's Guide references to slip in to your comic...
"Don't Panic" and "Mostly Harmless" are phrases often used in their travels. Both of which are used to describe things that would be otherwise unknown to travelers from Earth.

Towels are one of the most important things a traveler can carry . You can use it as a bindle for objects, you can roll it up and use it as a pillow, you can glue vitamins to it and suck on it for nutrition, basically towels have multiple functions and you should never travel without one.
