Most of this is ranting and raving about how I've been ill and unhappy. Read if you want to - if not skip down to the white bullet point that starts, "On a happier note..." C: That one's ACTUALLY about this piece of art. XD
Ah, it was so refreshing to do something like this. C: I haven't been in the best of health recently, along with not eating or sleeping much and replacing that with stressing over one thing or another. While in the progress of drawing this I dubbed it my 'much-happier-than-I-am' commission, but it slowly crept through various names rated on my mood to become my 'happiness-is-rivalled' commission. Yeah - it did me a lot of good to draw something bright and cheerful. Not to mention that =LittleTwiglet 's Pulse Rigaro is just adorable~! >w<
After being at school 15 minutes I decided I was unfit to work hard at my studies today and came home. XD The nurse thought I was bonkers for coming into school in the first place. I went home so early I actually had to wait for the school nurse to arrive at work. XD Our family's had this buggy thing for a week - and I'd been showing symptoms about a week before that, but nothing particularly serious. But today I guess, with all the lack of sleep and eating, I couldn't fight it off anymore. Most of my energy had been spent bursting into tears every now and then. D: So I'm glad I got to draw something muchos happy~ C:
In the short time I was at school I heard that some GSCE artwork had been put up on display, and had been slashed through by some idiot with a drawing pin. And my heart skipped a beat. Mine went up a little while ago, and it's one of the only sheets I'm actually proud of. I asked about the details, but was told that I'd have to ask an art teacher later on, but obviously I went home a few minutes later. So I sat there worried half to death, but my friend, Sharon, who is brilliant in all ways imaginable, especially when I'm ill or upset, went and found out that our art was okay, but I'm damn angry at whoever thought it funny to do that to someone's art. Someone oughta slash through THEM with a drawing pin... D:<
But I'm feeling quite a bit better now. C: The combined efforts of my two best friends, a long sleep and heavy metal have done me the world of good. Starting to feel a little rough again, but I'll probably go crash on the sofa and read all the many Nirvana articles there are about at the moment, the majority of which are in a beautiful stack next to my computer. >w<

On a happier note, and more art related, I looooved drawing this. >w< It was far too fun, and it's so yellow~ I LOVE colouring yellow things. 8D Definitely one of my favourite commissions to do so far. Everything just seemed to go right - from the sketch, to the line-art, to the colouring; nothing decided to have a tantrum at me, although my hair did when I decided to take a break and have a shower. XD It was all just nice and easy - exactly what I needed.

Ah, it was so refreshing to do something like this.
