;O; Only yesterday did I realise that thylacines went extinct, like, 80 years ago, or something. I thought they went extinct in the dinosaur era, but they've disappeared recently enough to have film footage of them. P: And some people still have sightings of them, but they're assumed extinct.
One of many animals I looked up yesterday, including the water oppossum, elephant bird, elephant shrew, potoroo and dippy-thlippy-don, whatever it's called. XD Diprotodon? I think...
Thycalines, also known as the Tasmanian tiger or wolf, are one of the few things that just scare the living hell out of me. ;o; Dead mammals are creepy, to me. I don't like the fact that I don't know a lot about them. But, for some reason or another, they scare me, and I have a quiet awe for things that do that, because not many things do. C:
Needed the practice for drawing chibis and gijinkas and whatnot, due to the fact that my Point Commissions are now open. ;o; I hope to draw lots of luvverly chibis.
I need to learn how to pronounce thylacine. I pronounce it "THY-A-KLINE", and it hasn't even got the letters in the right place, so I know that's not right. XD
