Description
Commission for Xyk the coyote. Story goes that Xyk is wandering through a city park, and happens across a basketball court covered in children's chalk drawings! Since no one is around (maybe the chalk fest was earlier that same day?) he takes the opportunity to snatch up some spare chalk and add a little something to the mosaic.
Mostly done in ArtRage 2.5, which has a chalk tool - that's how I was able to get such a good chalky texture!

Oh man, this triggers such great memories. Even besides that bias, I really like everything about this. The plot, though I know not yours, is wonderful. The sunny lighting is perfect, especially because you thought to add a little dappled shadow from a tree canopy. The composition is nice, and last, but greatest, all of the chalk art.
