Description
This big guy is a reward for my highest subscriber on Patreon. It was a killer of a project (in all the best ways).I used a base layer of watercolor and then the rest is colored pencil with a little liquid acrylic on top. 80% pencil though.

The Kirin has many different origins and depictions, though it is usually understood as a hooved blend of different creatures- deer, canines, horses, dragons. This commissioner asked for more hound-like anatomy. This wiki page has some cool information about the Chinese version of the Kirin, which is best known en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin
And I'm not sure if it will be tattooed. It was designed with that in mind, but it may just be used for decoration :3 we shall see!
