A drawing I was working on the past two days. I've been in an ooey gooey mushy mood when it comes to drawing lately. hehehehe These two are adorable :3 (I think) The one on the left is my black wolf Fell (yes, named after Fell from The Sight). The wolf on the right is...well I don't really have a name for her yet XDI like this pairing though.
Maybe expect some more art of these two

The Sight was a beautiful book, and I'm glad someone else has actually heard of it XD Anyway, beautiful artwork, and even if it may not be Fell from The Sight, he's still a gorgeous wolf; it just makes me want to read that and Fell all over again, they were such sad, yet masterful books, so beautiful.... X3

how do you even add the value or shading to the fur??? ive been trying and it doesnt work out well.
Anyways what is the size of an average drawing like this if i may ask?

Sorry for the late late comment!
Adding shading to fur is all about patience. It helps to have different value pencils while you are learning. Pick a light source and keep all areas that the light hits lighter, while keeping areas that the light doesn't hit at all the darkest. Practice and patience. I can't stress that enough.
And a drawing like this is relatively small. Maybe 9 inches by 9 inches?

It is pretty obvious her entire gallery is heavily referenced from other people.

She also banned me from her page so I can no longer tell her off for stealing others' artwork.

This whole situation is ridiculous. She is obviously heavily referencing, not giving credit, and then putting her artwork up as prints :/ It's sickening.
Do you know if dA has a policy against heavy referencing? Because if they don't we might be in trouble. As wrong as it is, I don't know if this falls under copyright infringement or not. I know tracing does, but the images aren't traced...hmm...

You can go on the Help & FAQ, maybe it'll say somewhere there, but I'm not for sure.
If she IS tracing, she is doing a really bad job of it.
It is very irritating to just sit back and watch her do that.
I believe that if you trace something, be warned, and then tell everybody that you did it more than 3 times, you should be banned. Because its pretty obvious that she will continue doing so.
She has no technique/skill, that is why she uses good artists' work to make herself look like she does.
