Alright, I'm entering new territory with this one. So far, I've always shied away from portrait photography (being a rather shy person myself), but I can't deny that I had a blast during my first photo shot with two of my colleagues a month ago. Can't wait to read what you think of this.Related content

An dem Shooting hatte ich viel Freude. Das lief drei Stunden lang einfach perfekt, und meine beiden Kolleginnen (die *Models*) und ich hatten unseren SpaΓ.

First remember that I am an old lady but came of age in an era where our battle cry was never trust anyone over 30.
The background is perfect and the way the model is posed, with the smaller lettering around her really focuses the viewer.
The costuming is good but too clean and perfect. The model is too beautiful and smooth. This would work as a fashion shot, or even a portrait, but not a metaphor for Punk rebellion.
As I was studying the photo I thought about camouflage, wouldnβt it be cool if her clothes were painted with similar patterns and lines as the background (a comment on the underground maybe).
Keep exploring it is thye mark of a true artist

I see what you mean about her clothes being too clean and perfect for the true sense of the word "Punk". That's correct, but I doubt that I could get her to ruin her perfectly good clothes for my puny photo-shoot. so, it's fashion then!
As usual, I love your idea about the camouflage photo. I saw a few pics of a Chinese who developed that art to an eye-popping level, to the point where you can barely see him before the background he chooses. Although he and his assitants usually take a whole day of preparation for this shoot.

I loved the background, too, it was the one location where I knew that it would greatly help me on my first shooting. And I was really lucky to have such a talented colleague and model for that first time, too! She wasn't actually shouting anything, just sticking her tongue out.
