Commission for ! Anthro Tywin Lannister!!!
This was a challenging commission, but very gratifying. I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan and know how iconic all the characters are. I was instructed on the costume, but had to merge the look of Tywin and a lion. With his short hair, and truly multi colored beard, it was tough. Surely looks like a lion, but I'm not sure if it looks like Tywin. What do you think? How do you like my style of Anthro?

I think that the Lion of Lannister needs to be a bit more impressive. Not sure what Charles Dance would make of it. I met him and have his autograph. Nice guy in person.

The eyes are the best part. I like it! So much, that I will probably ask for Stannis or Jaqen next.

I'm so glad you like it. Being unfamiliar with Anthro, I wasn't sure what YOU were expecting, so I just had to work up my own style.
I'd love to do another piece, what animal would you do for Jaqen? Stannis?

I kinda figured a stag for Stannis. A rat would be cool for Jaqen, or maybe a Jackal or hyena!

Well the Lannister crest is the lion but with the short hair it him look werewolfish. But that does keep him looking more like Tywin I say. Excellent work once again and Im glad to see the commissions keep coming in.

That was the dilemma, short hair, undefined beard, receding hairline, and the actor's nose is not lion-like. What can I say? I never did anthro before.

Anthro can be a lot of fun. I remember watching the special features on Avatar and the artists trying to make sure all the humans using avatar bodies shared enough facial features to be recognizable as the actors. Its a tough job but I think your picture is better for looking more like Tywin than too much like a lion.
