Just a normal day
Streets turn into graves
Traces have been removed
The search was disapproved
So cold the night
The weak ones lose the fight
Too many of them out there
Noone seems to care
Lost and so alone
Born but never known
Left all on their own
Forgotten children.

I looked out my bedroom window those lyrics held so much meaning inside them, I made years ago, and only sang too myself. I shut my eyes as I listened to the midnight wind blow around my face. I took an inhale of breath as the cold air filled my longs I felt alive. I reopened my eyelids to see the moon shining brightly at me, the only light that shined into my room giving me a smile, The moon was my only friend, my only family I really knew. I did not have any one, I felt I had a connection with someone out there in the big world, but I did not know them. I grew up on the streets because my family did not want me. I was only a baby.

I looked once more before I told the moon, goodnight, as if it could hear me and I crept away from the window to a pile of cloth's I had found and made a bed out of it. I closed my eyes and slowly fell sleep as my growing dread locks fell into my face. I opened my eyes again to take a look at the moon, I yawned once and let myself fall into a restless sleep.

I felt something poking me in my sleep, I opened my eyes to find a little dog had snuck into my abandoned house. "what are you doing here?" I asked it as I pat the puppy on the head a little. "you must have a family" I smiled down at its happy face. "where do you live" I asked it" It just looked at me and wagged its tale. I laughed a little as the dog cleaned my face. I finally got the nerve to see if it was a girl or a boy and it was a boy. "what's your name" I asked it and the dog just barked at me like it new what I had asked it. "okay, I do not know what that is" I told him, it was a German shepherd by the looks of it. "well I do not have dog food for you" I told him, truth I did not have food, for myself either.

The dog just sat down and cuddled up next to me just wanting to be warm and cuddle with someone. "okay goodnight Scotty" I told the dog giving him a real name. I closed my eyes again and went back to sleep with Scotty next to me.
