Description
My HC design for Rocky and Ginger’s daughter, Molly. My Molly’s a lot like her father, looks and personality wise. She’s mischievous, fun loving, sociable, slightly dishonest and self absorbed like her dad. She thankfully inherited Ginger’s moral compass, so her dishonesty rarely ever goes further than skipping chores and playing hooky and if it does, it’s because of hurt feelings and she will go out of her way to help someone who needs it. She’s just as stubborn and temperamental as her mom, so they often butt heads and Rocky is forced to play mediator. Molly loves both her parents but she’s closer with Rocky. Ginger and Rocky struggled to fertilize an egg for a long time, so that along with the abuse they suffered at the hands of humans makes them both a bit overprotective of Molly, which frustrates her to no end, not helped by the fact that Rocky and Ginger clam up any time she asks them about their lives outside the Sanctuary.

-Molly is both something of the sanctuary’s golden child and the neighborhood delinquent. Everyone knows she has good intentions and that she can be counted on, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t annoy the ever living crap out of them sometimes.

-Molly is best friends with Mac and Fowler’s son, Quill She’s the punk half of the punk/nerd friend duo. Quill acts as her impulse control and when she’s around him, she’s much better behaved.

-Ginger and Rocky sheltered Molly a lot, so much so that she doesn’t know that chickens are farmed for their meat and eggs and what life is like for most chickens, so she takes the sanctuary for granted.

-Ginger and Rocky hate humans on principle but she’s curious about them, which Fowler of all chickens encourages. He survived a war as a soldier’s pet and he’s seen good in humans, and Molly being an optimist chooses to believe in that instead of Ginger’s horror stories.
