Drew this last week.

Gift for my other bestie

With Holly's contest still ongoing as for I being in a mood for revisiting classic Disney this month, another old idea sprang to mind when I drew Juvia Lockser (of Fairy Tail) as The Blue Fairy from our recast on Pinocchio (see recast ➡ www.deviantart.com/kaumithomas… ). Boy, I haven't drawn Juvia in a while as for putting so much effort with in using blue within her outfit & wings (cannot forget her hair color, too, since her hair was always blue while the one in Pinocchio was a blonde). The arms and hands were the most trouble I've had in process in how to capture her pose but overall came out good in the end yet I do need to improve on drawing anatomy on some spots. Drawing this piece was done on something like a fade-out graph paper for which the fact I got carried away in focused of completing this sketch rather than tracing on normal paper & having to ink in last, however.
At least, I can picture in mind that she is about to make Marakov's wish come true in this sequence. I hope you will enjoy seeing how I've brought one of our favorite Fairy Tail ladies to life in our vision on retelling Disney's beloved tale by my style and perhaps I will finish up doing that one entry for your contest, Holly. (Again, I was happy with how everything came out & all that blue looks so gorgeous to look at. )

A little note: This piece is now officially a contest entry for Holly's, not just only a gift as well.
