Description it can be funny how life works,
throwing catch 22's and other little surprises your way.
occasionally it pulls people away from you,
but every so often it hands them to you.

when you least expect it,
life throws you something big,
someone you didn't know you needed.
what do you say to them when they arrive?

how do you begin to express the perfectness of their timing?
how do you start to tell them why it is they make you smile?
to tell them why you're constantly happy,
perchance the happiest you have ever been.

the more days they spend with you,
the happier you can stay from day to day.
the stronger this feeling grows,
the more life continues to enthrall you.

Your poetry is still lovely. You have no need to worry about that. I can, in all honesty, say how I hope your muse continues to inspire you, Christina.

I too have found someone much like the person you refer to in this poem. They make me happier than I can remember being for some time. And, in a way, I too have been inspired. Or, more appropriately, revitalized.
