Description
So very far from home.This was the sight as my plane left the Hawaiian islands for New Hampshire, sad but exciting at the same time. Class for school begin tomorrow, once again a nervous but exciting time. This is a view of the south shore of Hawaii which has such great sights as Waikiki beach and Diamond head (the large crater at the bottom). Sorry for the late post, i'ts been crazy.. moving into the dorms, course selection, you know how it is. Peace out everyone!

I bet you'll miss hawaii so much.. I only visited and I do. I didn't have a good camera when my plane came in, but it was last December and there were all these beautiful orange clouds with heat lightning, it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

Crap man from out an airplane window this is a dam fine shot. I din't get such a picture perfict view when I left 
But yeah, this realy captures the beauty of Hawaii. First time I went there i was overtaken with all there is to see and do, not to mention the pure beauty of everything !!!
This pic brings back some realy good memories.

Nice capture! The tuft of cloud near the volcano crater adds a lot to the compostion.
Though, best of luck going from a pretty chill place to the eastern seaboard. Hope you like snow.

Wow, amazing. This picture seems so loaded with emotion, because of the story behind it. It's a beautiful shot in itself, though. I'm fascinated by the way mandmade things merge with the landscape here.

Beautiful shot. I really like the bird's eye view and you seem to have overcome the blurryness of airplane windows. It's nice to be able to see just a bit of Waikiki and Kahala on either side and pretty much all o Kaimuki up top.

That...is a massive crater. ::boggles:: The highest point in Florida is Mount Trashmore (the dump).

amazing. i can never get clear shots or nicely angled shots like that on an airplane. very cool! you must have been sitting next to a really clear window. either that or all the windows i've been sitting next to are dirty
