Far Cry is a 2004 first-person shooter game developed by Crytek and published by Ubisoft. It is the first installment in the Far Cry franchise. Set on a mysterious tropical archipelago, the game follows Jack Carver, a former American special forces operative, as he searches for the female journalist, Valerie Constantine, who accompanied him to the islands but went missing after their boat was destroyed by mercenaries. As Jack explores the islands, he begins to discover the horrific genetic experiments being conducted on the local wildlife and must confront the mad scientist behind them.

Fort is the third level in Far Cry.

This mission served as the game's demo After leaving the carrier on an inflatable boat, Jack arrives at the Kabatu island. He is tasked with disabling the communication system operating in the area in order to divert their attention so that he can escape and focus on rescuing Valerie. His target is the satellite dish situated in an old World War II Japanese fort on top of a mountain visible from the very start of the level. On his way, Jack overhears mercenaries speculating that he is not working alone and that there is an all-out invasion from the outside incoming.

Objectives

* Get to the fort ruins on top of the mountain

* Defend yourself until Doyle hacks the door code

* Get inside the comm center and kill the commander

* Find an explosive pack and plant near gas generator

* Get away from the generator
