While reading Star Wars The Old Republic issue number 4, I came across this fighter on the first page, lower right panel. It was a background image so the ship was very small, but the silhouette was awesome looking, so I decided to try to make it in paint. I think its a republic fighter, but until this awesome ship is revealed more, I can only say its a mystery ship.Original parts by Captain Shade!

you have the design close, but the paint job is a little off and the nose is a little off, that and the wings do fold forward where it almost looks like a wider delta class jedi star fighter, and we we talking about knights of the old republic, or the old republic?

cool. Maybe a predecessor to the Z-95? Also looks kinda like a republic V-wing, the hull at least.
If this was a modern ship, I'd say the lasers were turbo, the engines really fast (they look like the Event Horizon engines from an A-wing), and maybe a secondary weapon in the nose. maybe it's a short range heavy hitter? cause I don't see an astromech, and most fighters aren't equipped with worthwhile nav computers.

Honestly I dont know if its republic or Sith.. all I know is a Sith soldier was looking up at them and saying "incoming"... but I dont know if it was support, or an enemy ship coming to bombard them. This was set 3000 years BBY, so... again... no idea until the next issue comes out... hopefully we'll see more of these in future issues..or better yet, in the Old Republic MMORPG
