Happy Christmas Eve everyone!In celebration, the JBD staff has organised an adoptable set featuring the Santa's reindeer, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the team as well!
About this JBD
- Custom normal-length ears with tufts and fluffy base, extra cheek, chest, and forearm fur, butt fluff, custom tail, reindeer horns (asymmetric)
- The design of this bean's face is asymmetrical. Right eye is green, left eye is red.
- Male/Female
- Adult

Something was calling me to get my butt online, and holy cow!!! I, I'm honestly jumping up and down showing everyone in my little household this gorgeous mite and squealing. It's been so long since I've felt that warm wiggly winning feeling. Gah I'm so excited!!!!

Decorations: in case i end up too late from illness
it may be simple and unimportant in appearance, but how Alek dresses for Christmas is everything but to him.
A coat cape, nearly bigger than himself this garment isnt for Alek own warm - he was born extra warm - it is for shelter and home for others that need warmth, a hug, or just company.
A traditional nordic reindeer harness that holds small snowglobe ornaments, vibrant in colour it allows Alek to share a small memory to children and those who need something to hold on to just as he did
Bracers, leather covers both feet and hands to protect them from ice as well as other debris that might trigger Alek's more than typical sensitive hands
But all really doesn't seem to add up unless you know the whole story

Kris could never truly get behind the image of modern Christmas that appears and evolves throughout December every year. Instead, he gets his roots from an older source and chooses to adorn himself in decor akin to the visage of the "Holly King". A more nature-involved set of decorations involve the holly he winds around his antlers that meets together at the top of his head and forms a crown or wreath of sorts, a hand-made, mottled green cloak of faux-furs and ivy leaves with small red berries dotted here and there. Small pine cones find themselves tied into the nest of holly on his antlers and in the tuft at the end of his tail. At the wrists of his front legs are leather bracers, Celtic knots and more depictions of holly are set into them. He has also found that, despite his best efforts, his decorations tend to draw the interest of birds that have hung around and due to his very calm and quiet nature... there's generally a few feathered friends paying him an up close and personal visit; much to the delight of children who may see him in passing.

Shiro, whilst being a major christmas enthusiast; is lazy and not as creative as he wishes he could be, therefore he tends to decorate himself minimally. In this case, in colours that represent his favourite candy cane flavor; green peppermint. With a strong sweet-tooth and an obsessive love for green peppermint candy canes; Shiro will happily munch on his decorations when he's in the mood for something sweet. And as much as shiro enjoys a white christmas, he dislikes getting too cold, so the scarf and gloves are a must. And the fairy lights? Well, he just doesn't look complete without them (and they're aesthetically pleasing to look at).

Decorations: Glace becomes an advent calendar.
In the hype before Christmas Glace assigns himself as the official dork of his town and decorates his horns with differing goodies for the 24 day lead up to the big day. He’ll attach anything remotely Christmas themed to his antlers, from candy canes to small crackers, and on Christmas eve, small wrapped trinkets. He parades around letting both little beanletts and adults scrabble over his bulk to pluck their gift. It’s slowly becoming a tradition for folks who’ve picked something from his antlers to tie a note in it’s absence, some are for Santa (since kids see him as a reindeer), or are thank yous accompanied by kind messages.
Apart from this he wears three straps on his tail, each holding three jingle bells. He waves his tail from side to side like an ice-cream truck announcing its presence.
A harness around his shoulders and back, this is filled with extra gifts in case he runs out of goodies and a mirror so he can attach them. This harness is also rather fancy, boasting amazing, intricate designs worked into the leather.
And lastly, he ties mistletoe onto the end of his tail because he’s a cheeky fool who likes to give himself a laugh when there are awkward “couples” about. He so hasn’t used it for himself either, nope.

Decorations: Glass ornaments + glass ornaments containing small plants - Every year Victus picks up a new ornament to place on his ropes and antlers alongside the ones he has been collecting ever since he hatched. Some of the ornaments are broken but Victus cherishes each and every one of them as each ornament came with a year of memories attached to them. Victus holds onto memories, both good and bad, and regardless of what memories are attached to them, Victus holds onto those ornaments. He refuses to take them off even if they cut him (which they have many a time). Along with the ornaments, Victus also carries four glass ornaments on his tail which hold small plants. He carries these around all year unlike the others. He takes a lot of care in carrying his plants in a way where they are not hurt or broken.

Volga's winter attire does little to keep him warm- but he does look good.
His shawl and scarves are deep black, embroidered with gold to match his shoulderpads, as well as the gold cord that connects them. His left eye, the red one, is best kept covered- but Volga won't wear anything that doesn't present well. His eyepatch, perhaps once a source of shame, is now the centerpiece of his outfit and the center of his pride.

Whimbrel totes around a mini-organ set and a piano to play music at the small nomadic communities he visits during the holiday times. He plays traditional folk music along with requests from the crowds, and will even teach the youngsters in the community how to play music and sing! Everyone in a town knows he's coming by the bells he wears and the flickering lights that are powered by a battery pack hidden inside the platform for his musical instruments.

The cloth is a deep black with golden embroidery, the same gold as his shoulder-pad. The cloth that covers his light-sensitive red eye is decorated with a poinsetta, a symbol of good cheer during winter. The tied cloth on his tail and shoulder have one pair of golden bells each, to match the embroidery. Despite what his expression might say, he's really overjoyed, honest!

Blitzen's Christmas attire consists of, a wreath around his neck adorned with holly berries, and a golden ribbon wrapped around it and tied in a neat bow at the bottom. He also wears a special red harness with silver bells(that was made special), and a gold ribbon on each side. A few ornaments, bells, and holly decorate his antlers, and even a bit of mistletoe can be found hanging from them as well. All the bells he wears is a way to keep his spirits up during this time of the year. They also help him feel like he is one with the spirit of Christmas, and spirits of those that are no longer with him. Not to mention, every time one of those bells ring, an angel gets their wings.
