I think I'm gonna explode with happiness... I never would have thought I could create something like this. D8 I spent so many hours on it... ;3; I started it last night around 8pm, took a two hour break at 2am, started again at 4am, and stopped around 5am, but only because my photoshop froze... so I actually had to redo the background this morning when I woke up, which it only took me about 10-20 minutes to make. But shit, if I wasn't me, I wouldn't believe that I made this. D8 Anyway, its my Star Wars character, Jie-Nae the Jedi. He lives on Tatooine and he's in the middle of a dust storm. 8DFor some reason, I really love his eye the most. There's so much detail in his eye its not even funny. I'm real proud of it. Oh, and the lineart I think took me the longest to do. ;3; I usually don't draw straight on the computer, I usually make my lineart on paper with my pen. I think I'm gonna draw like this more often. Seriously. Amazing. I'm so proud of it.

Wow! It looks fantastic! I really love the pose and composition- ! <3 And the texture of the clouds is incredible- really sets the mood. Not really liking the outlines of the cloud though- the idea of it is good- but they look so.. rough and messy compared to the rest of it.

Very cool. What species is he? He's very unique-looking, especially in his colors and markings. Unfortunatly the pic doesn't let me get as close to his eyes as I'd like to be able to, to appreciate your work! I really like his front hand though, as well as the prespective on the lightsaber. The spikes on his forearms could do with some work, I think--unless they're supposed to look more leaf-like or Stegosaurus-plate-like than Zabrak-spike-like, they should be more firmly sunk into his arm.
He's a very interesting character--I almost want to jump on the doing-fanart-of-him bandwagon that seems to have formed in the comments. ^_^

I like his right hand too, I think it turned out pretty good, especially the shading on it. His spikes? Yeah, lol I need to work on an official design for those. XD

lol I think his skin might just be like normal human flesh... XD I don't know. Me and my bf were actually having a conversation last night when I was drawing Jie-Nae up. lol Naw, I dunno. It could be scales? Or maybe he's got normal flesh with scales in some places, like on joints? Like his knee's and elbow's? I think that'd be cool. Almost like a callus, but... not. XD

Sooo cool. *o* I'm amazed with your work on this! I love the coloring and shading effects you do. Seems like it would be a really epic battle in a dust storm with him, especially because he probably knows exactly how to maneuver well in one since he was born on Tatooine. Really, really, REALLY nice work here. :3

8D I just got an idea!! 8D Only if you're willing though. How about you and I do a collab battle scene of him and someone else?! Like I draw him, and then you draw the other person and we collab on coloring too, like I color my half and you color yours? It'd look so cool! Two different styles colliding to form one scene!
