Description "Ugh Sarine!" Alyssa Blackstar moaned. "You're such a dumbnut!"
"Pfft, I'm not the one who failed her last exam on SPELL CASTING or whatever! I mean, that was easy!"
"Shut it Windcaster!" She stormed off, along with Olivia and Fiona.
I'm Sarine Windcaster, by the way. I just got excepted into Oakvine School of Wizardry. Not the easiest school to get into!
Alyssa Blackstar is one of the "popular" witches here. Her and Olivia Icecloud and Fiona Willowfinder. Now, those two just back her up just so they can be popular. If Alyssa wasn't there, they'd be social outcastes like me.
I am a favorite of Headmaster Ravenclaw. That's one of the few reasons that i got excepted! He is my dad's stepdad's dad or something. And Alyssa is just jealous of me because I'm smarter that her. And Ravenclaw likes me better. Not to toot my own horn or anything but BEEP BEEP BEEP!
"Hey Shar!" Esmee called as she approached the stone beach i was seated on. "Whatcha doin'?"
"Nothing. I just got attacked by the Blackstar gang. Wasn't pretty."
"Ooh, ouch. Probably my fault!" She smirked.
"Oh no. WHAT DID YOU DO NOW!?" I was worried. Esmee Deathshrouder is the worst prankster/getter-in-trouble girl at Oakvine!!!
"Well, first, I memorized her handwriting. Then, i wrote a note on the day she was sick. Her mom gave her a note to give to Prof. Higgins and i ripped it up, leaving the 'excuse' from herself!"
"You didn't," I questioned as she grinned triumphantly and crossed her arms. I glanced around making sure that no one was listening.
"Did you leave it for Higgins or Ravenclaw?" I worriedly asked.
"Which one are you absolutely NOT supposed to leave notes for?" She smirked as i shooked my head and smacked my forehead with my palm saying," He has a fingerprint scanner! HE IS GONNA KNOW IT WAS YOU!"
"Oh. Well, I hadn't thought about that." She looked dumbfounded. "Now, after all of that happened, Blackstar told me I was the worst person in the world and stuff and asked me where 'that whelp, Windcaster' is. Ouch right?"

RING RING RING!! went the first period bell. I hustled off to Bessie Stormcloud's classroom. She teaches the magical element (M.E.) of Storm.
"You're late. Two demerits!" She snapped her ruler down on her desk.
"Two? But the bell just rang and-"
"One for being late, and another for irritating me. Now turn to page 123 in your text books. In the M.E. Storm section." She scowled at me.
Prof. Stormcloud hates me. Not because of me, because of my mom. She was a better sorcerer that Stormcloud, so she got jealous. Very very jealous.
"Professor Stormcloud?" Genevieve Firestalker raised her hand. "I left my text book in Higgin's room, may i go and get it?" She looked all sweet and innocent up at Stormcloud.
"No, just borrow one of the extras up here dear," the small loud-mouthed pixie pointed towards a pile of books beside her desk. Firestalker swiftly grabbed one and sat back down.
See, now Stormcloud would've given ME like, three demerits and made me go get mine. It's not fair!

RING RING RING!
Everyone rushed out of Stormcloud's classroom and hustled to their second period. I had the M.E. of Balance teacher, Prof. Higgins. He doesn't have a two-part name or anything because he is from Eckmastom, a world far away from Oakvine. That is actually the name of this planet.
"Oh, Hi Sarine! Fiona! Lilly! Arther! And Genevieve!" Higgins greeted every second period student as they walked into the door. He walked up to the chalk board after all thirty students were seated. He started writing on the chalkboard. "Now, turn to page 454 and copy some notes off for your-"
"Sorry I'm late Professor Higgins! It started raining and I dropped my backpack and Ravenclaw stopped me and I saw my mom and-"
"Sit down and follow the instructions on the board Alyssa!" He sternly eyed the soaking wet Blackstar. I couldn't help laugh at that girl!

RING RING RING!
"Wooh, I'm not looking forward to that Balance test, are you Sharine?" Genvieve asked me, her words jumbling together. "Get lost, ok?" I glared at her. She ran off to Mythblood's room. I swiftly followed her, because he was our third period. Every step splashed water up onto my already wet clothes. It was raining pretty bad too.
"Take a towel and dry yourselves, children," Mythblood solemnly stated. He is the M.E. of Myth teacher. He's half cyclops half human. So he has one eye. And he's kind of gothic.

"The bell system stopped working. Every student should be in their homerooms. Thank you!"
I was sitting in Stormcloud's room, (GRR) beside Alyssa Blackstar, DEFIANTLY NOT BY CHOICE! (double grr!) I was ignoring the whispers from Alyssa, Fiona, and Olivia beside me.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!
"Come in now!" Stormcloud shouted sweetly.
"I need to see Windcaster for a moment," Headmaster Ravenclaw said in his firm yet raspy voice. His tall lanky robed figure peeped in around the door.
"But...I...well, alright." She went back to her harsh lecture as we left.
"Now Windcaster, I have an important job for you. I would've put an older student up to this, but, you are more reliable. And can use your power wiser than anyone in this entire world. I would know."
"What is it?" I looked up at the weathered figure.
"You need to find Lady Deathheart, and kill her."
"Woah. What? Deathheart? She's the most powerful black witch in this world and I have to kill her?"
Ravenclaw just nodded. "Here is the instructions to a powerful damage spell and healing spell. Take them." He handed them to me after some searching around in the many pockets in his old robes.
"Go now child!" He shooed me off. I ran off towards Deathheart Castle in the east of the planet.

As i got closer and closer to the mansion, i heard an eerie wail coming from the ancient structure.
I slowly opened the huge double doors and slowly walked in. It looked like an old ballroom that i was standing in, complete with a piano in horrible condition.
"Who dares to come into my castle?" wailed an eerie woman's voice from above me. I saw a ghostly figure fly down a few feet in front of me. Deathheart!
"Hi, I thought I'd come and...look," I stated in a half sarcastic voice.
"Why come to my...'humble' house to 'look'?" She sneered and slowly walked closer to me.
"Oh, no reason. Just looking for reagents for a spell, usual stuff," I glared at the ghostly figure coming closer and closer to me. We started to move in a circle together. She was only a few feet in front of me now.
"Not usual for me...my my, you're a young one aren't you?" She sneered. I realized she could now see me because of the small patches of moonlight shining in on us from holes in the roof. I slightly lowered my head so the light wouldn't shine on my face. I reached into my small pack for my wand. Deathheart followed my motion and pulled out hers.
A boom of thunder alarmed the both of us. I jerked my vision up then back at the lanky figure before me. Her long black hair was tangled and to knee length and was billowing up around her with ever movement. Her ratted gown reached to her ankles and revealed her bony, dirty feet. Her face was surprisingly beautiful, but her eyes were bloodshot and her cheeks were covered with scratches and dirt. With every expression, she akawardly tilted her head and her eyes went wide.
Another boom of thunder turned her head to face the ceiling. I yanked my wand pointing to her face and called out the spell Ravenclaw had told me to cast.
A beam of redish orange light shot out of the tip of my wand and headed towards her. She looked at it and pulled out her wand.
"Protekyason!" A large forcefield boomed out around her. The beams from my spell reflected back towards me and hit me in the stomach. It blew me back so hard I slammed against the wall on the other side of the room! My back violently slammed the wall so hard it cracked it where I hit.
I slid to the floor onto my knees. A sharp pain shimmied down my spine. I winced in pain.
"Oh, I see, Ravenclaw sent out another 'sacrifice' to try and defeat me?" She sneered and glided over beside me.
"I'm not a...ooh...sacrifice!" I scowled at her sneering face. Covering my stomach with my arm, I stood up, wand in my other hand. I held it out and touched it to her face.
"Look, Deathheart. I don't know what's going through your senile, DERANGED, mind right now, but all i know is, you are going to regret...insulting me." I took the wand from her face and stood up as straight as i could.
"Well, Ravenclaw has sent me other wizards about your age and skill, and I killed everyone of them. So don't think you're any different sugarqueen!"
"I may be different, for all you know." I glared at her.
"Well, I had a face to face combat with Ravenclaw, and I told him about my accomplishment. He told me about how he sent the weaker students to try and defeat me so he wouldn't have to risk loosing his better students. He didn't care about them is all I got out of it."
"No!" I yelled. "IT'S NOT TRUE!"
"Oh yes. I may be evil but I don't lie!"
I raised my want, pointing to her head. She had backed up about five feet away from me.
"RAMOSANTHRA!" I yelled. A greenish beam shot out of my wand. It hit Deathheart and blew her back and she hit the piano. It collapsed all over her.
"Why you-ANESAEN!" A red beam of light shot out of her weathered wand. She was bleeding from her arm, chest, and face. The beam hit me in the chest. It felt like something was ripping my heart out! I fell to my knees, both arms around my stomach.
Deathheart limped over to where I was. Her left ankle looked broken, her right leg had blood streaming down it, and her gown was blood stained. There was a gash in the sleeve where her arm was bleeding. She looked horrible, and a sudden wave of guilt hit me. I quickly shook off the thought. I felt another wave of piercing pain rush through my chest. I then realized a spot on my stomach was bleeding.
"Now," Deathheart wheezed out, "I'll kill you like I did all of the other whelps that tried to excecute me!" She pointed the wand at my chest. I could tell she felt guilty also. I looked up at her. Another wave of guilt added on to my pain. Her bloodshot eyes suddenly went wide. Tears began to flee from her eyes and she dropped on her knees. "I...can't...do this...anymore." She dropped her head. I looked at her, close to tears myself.
"Are you...okay?" I asked. "N-no. My c-chest..." she wimpered and leaned over.
"I...have a healing spell, but I'm not gonna help you." I stood up. Another wave of guilt struck me.
"I promise, I won't try and kill you." She looked up at me thankfully. Her cheeks were tear stained, and clean where the tears dropped.
"Fotifayan," I whispered. A bluish mist came out of the tip of my wand and showered over Deathheart. It surrounded her and her wounds slowly faded. She stood up and pulled out her wand.
"Ferenet!" She said, loudly and plainly. A small green butterfly appeared in front of us. The beautiful creature flew around in front of me. It then flew in circles around me and disappeared. I felt rejuvenated.
"Well, want to go see Ravenclaw?" I suggested. "Yes, I'd like to see him as a friend, not a mortal enemy!" She grabbed  my arm and we glided out and down towards the school.

"Deathheart!"
"How'd a newbie capture HER?"
"Wow! I've never seen her in person..."
"She looks like death on a cracker!"
Whispers broke out as we glided along the streets of Oakvine towards the headmaster's office. I knocked on the large double doors and we went in. Ravenclaw looked surprised to see us. Well, Deathheart.
"Gertrude? How are you-"
"She won't try to kill you Headmaster!" I looked thoughtfully at Ravenclaw then at Deathheart.
"She healed me." Deathheart said, looking straight at Ravenclaw. "And are we friends again, Ravenclaw?" She did that akward head tilt thing.
"Uh..." He just looked dumbfounded.
"I know, It's very weird. Let me explain, Headmaster!"

After I told the story, Ravenclaw looked astounded.
He walked up to where we sat. Deathheart looked like a parent sitting with me in the Headmaster's office because I got in trouble or something. Or, that's what it felt like. We were behaving like I was the parent and she was the kid. Deathheart was fiddling with her thumbs and looking down, and my arms were crossed and I was looking thoughtfully at Ravenclaw. Oh well.
"Well, do you forgive me Head-er-Ravenclaw?" She looked uncertain. And like a ghost or zombie or something.
"Well, you left when you were only fifteen to join...the Dark General, and...never finished your training. And now you're..."
"Eighteen. I know, it's hard to believe!" She smirked.
"Okay, well...I.."
"She could stay with me!" I jumped out of my chair. "I mean, she could be my roommate. And I could get her some new clothes, haircut, and other things. And she could start back with the Seniors!"
"Well, I don't know..."

  TWO WEEKS LATER......
"You mean, THAT'S Gertrude Deathheart? I mean, she's BEAUTIFUL!" Esmee stared at her. Deathheart's hair was shoulder length, she was in black and white robes with a matching hat, she had a new high quality wand, and her face wasn't scarred or dirty. I've gotta admit, she was beautiful. She was sitting under a cherry blossom tree reading.
"Yeah, I mean, she tried to kill me, and now we are BFFs." I smiled at her, and she waved back.
"OK, I officially crown you, 'Queen of Weirdos.'"
