Here is a picture of my kick ass brother-in-law cosplaying Kisame.I made his hat as well as that sword he's holding.
Yes, once again I was up the entire night before the con making this sword.
BUT I'm very pleased with it and all the hard work and burned fingers paid off.
With our joint efforts, my lover and I did his make up.
He did a good job pulling it off, don't you think.?

That is so freaking EPIC!! I think Kisame Hoshigaki is the hottest Akatsuki member lol. If I could go to a con like that I'd play as Kisame lol, but I don't have ANY cosplay at all and I have no Idea when this con is or where these cons are lol.

A bunch of different materials including pvc piping, foam, clay, and some other materials I can't remember off the top of my head.

And references for the clothes? Hn. Try to find a pattern that matches it. Look at a lot of pictures from episodes and mangas to help.

The hat can be found at some asian markets.
The fabric in any fabric store.
The rest is just paint and sewing/constructing.

SQWEEEE!!! i just got the hat off of this web site. so now all i have to do is paint the black triangle on top, put the strip thingys on, and make the jingle bell tassel thiny. i am so happy, now i just have to figure out how to make deidaras eye thingy =.=; lol.

Thank you. The hat itself was bought and then altered to look like the akatsuki hat. I hand to hand-paint it and fasten the strips of fabric myself.

OH MY GOD.. I remember seeing him O_x I wish my Akon this year hadn't bombed soo bad, I hardly got around or took pictures at all x_x;; Next year is DIFFERENT thoug O_O YES xD I'm gonna make sure to try and do group cosplays and such ^^ OMG.. how did you make the sword? I'm not trying to get secrets or anything, I'm just curious because I'd love to try and make my own props, I've never really done it before x_x;; I'm such a loozer =_=;; I wanna make my own cosplay this coming year, I can't wait ^^

The sword I made actually the day before/of the con. I stayed up the entire night making that thing. It's a combination of a lot of materials. Some of which are pvc pipe, styrafoam. Just cheap things.
