i'm proud of myself for using something besides cherry blossoms for the bg.. it was tempting considering how i felt after the tutorial, lol...

That's incredible! anime characters always have a very specific look about them, and when ever I come across something like this - a photo-realistic version of such anime characters, it's really quite a treat. It paints them in a whole new light, breathes life into them a whole new way. Really awesome perspective!

nice again. the collar bone is pretty much straight unless a person's shoulders are up, so i think you should straighten hers. and the shadow on her neck coming from her face shouldn't have that "lump." I wish i could just show you, cause its hard to explain

This is really beautiful. I like the way you contrast the light and dark within the whole figure. I love her face, she looks all too real. The way you used that technique is amazing too. Did you use a model or did you do it by thought alone? because she really does look to be an Asian person.
