awww it is so cute! Seriously clemont (citron) is the best male companion ash ever had (Max was cool as well x'D)
My favourite female companion is May
Clemont and ... Bonny(?) (her japanese name is eureka . ya know his sister) remind me so much of max and may but with other personalitys. The best thing about clemont is definitely how bad he is doing sports. I always feel like him. x'D
I also love the fact that Eureka has somehow her own pokemon Dedenne. Unlike max.
And that clemont seems to collect ground types even if he is a electricity gym leader.

And of course the way Clemont runs is adorable!
And I like how Bonnie was allowed to keep Dedenne because youngsters are trainers in the game. I felt sorry for Max when he wasn't allowed to do so.
But no, Clemont doesn't collect ground types. Did you watch the 9th episode? Because this is a spoiler He just caught Bunnelby which is a normal type to make use of it's ground attacks so he can battle Citroid. He doesn't need any more ground types now that he beat it. spoiler end.

I'm used to both Japanese and English names so you can use whatever you like, it's not a problem at all ^^ I sometime use both at the same time depending on the name I like more

Yes I did see that I watched them all in japanese and it was amazing, that I understood everything when one episode wasn't released with english subtitles and I couldn't wait.
but bunnelby and hanimaru are both ground times in their last evolutions.

Bunnelby's evolution is part ground type, but Harimaron's is Grass and fighting, not ground ^^
I'm not sure about drawing a Eureka x Max picture..... but I will draw Clemont x May because I actually ship them

I just wish we got the chance to learn more about Bunnelby's personality... But with Chespin, I'm ditching that idea.... I just hope I'm wrong about that...
And then I'm also really curious about Heliolisk because it's bond with Clemont seems to be really strong.... Hopefully when they return to Lumiose for the gym battle...

And his Heiloisk is adorable! I didn't like this Pokemon but after seeing its dance I was like awww <3 it was too happy to see Clemont again or either is playful all the time. I was glad when it turned out that it didn't turn against Clemont as we all thought ^^
I want it to travel with them, but maybe when they return to Lumiose again something happens that lets Clemont take it with him. I don't know what it could be though, because Citroid still needs Pokemon for gymlattles.

Well, there's one thing that I know will get Bunnelby more screentime. And that's if Bunnelby becomes a friend or love interest to another Pokemon in the main cast, so we can hope. But Dedenne and Pikachu are already together, Froakie and Fennekin seems like it might become something, so our only other choices are Chespin and Fletchling, unless someone catches another Pokemon. But the thing I've noticed is that Clemont uses Bunnelby as a backup Pokemon to Chespin... I do understand why he does that: Chespin is still pretty new and has to get used to its new trainer, but I really hope it doesn't get in the way of Bunnelby and Clemont's relationship...
As for Heliolisk: Helioptile is one of my favorite gen 6 Pokemon, but I didn't like Heliolisk until I saw Clemont's either. In fact, it finally made me let it go and I finally evolved my Helioptile.
Anyway, I want to see the relationship between Clemont and Heliolisk more, considering that Heliolisk is his signature Pokemon. I'm mostly curious about how they met and more of Heliolisk's personality.
Maybe it'll travel with the main cast but... My hopes are low. Besides, noticing how Clemont isn't using any electric types (Dedenne doesn't count) I'm guessing that he just needed a break from being a gym leader.
I have a lot more to rant about if you're interested, but that was the main point

That should happen. It's sad seeing Pokemon getting along with each other but one of them is being left out. If there's something between Froakie and Fennekin, it's still ok for any of them to be friends with anyone else. I'm focusing on those two because Froakie seems like it can get along with any Pokemon on its own. First Garchomp, then Pikachu and Flechling. I can see him becoming friends with Bunnelby because both of them don't mess around XD but of course if it wasn't Froakie then maybe Chespin as they both belong to Clemont, I can see Bunnelby trying to stop Chespin from running carelessly to eat something. Or Fletchling but I'm not sure how it'll work- but it's not impossible.
I agree. Something like this happened to May's Torchic and I hope it doesn't happen again specially with Clemont's Bunnelby because that will make me pretty angry
At first I just liked Helioptile but not really that much, but seeing Alexa's made me think it's adorable. And now the I also think Heliolisk is adorable <3
I want to see more of his Heliolisk too. I'm pretty sure it's Clemont's starter so most likely his father gave it to him as a Helioptile since Limone is an electrician? He also likes electric Pokemon a lot and I'm sure he's the reason why Clemont got interested in Electric Pokemon. But I want to know when exactly he received it, mean, if he's 10 now and he's a gymleader then at least maybe 3 years ago? Bonnie is most like to be 7 (like Max) but they say she's still to young to have her own Pokemon....? This doesn't make sense. Or maybe Clemont was just Keeping his father's Pokemon as well?
But you know? I'm more interested in how Clemont caught his Bunnelby, considering that he didn't have a single Pokemon with him. He either tried befriending it or maybe battled it himself. We've seen it happening before in the anime. like Jessie catching Seviper, Cilan catching Stunfisk and Iris fighting Drilbur. All of these times were so hilarious and I'm thinking that Clemont might used some inventions to do it
Really? I think that Clemont needs to have an electric Pokemon with him. I'm thinking of Emolga since he has one in the game. Maybe he'll encounter one during his travel and try to catch it..? But whatever I wasn't happy when they replaced his Emolga with a Magnemite. I love Magnemites but he already has Magneton. and that's just like Wattson too

Well, I know that the Pokemon can interact separately, but it seems like Dedenne and Pikachu interact more than say, Fletching and Dedenne for example. Anyway, I forgot exactly what I was gonna rant on about, but it had to do with the fact that Clemont doesn't seem to be very affectionate. That's not to say he doesn't love his Pokemon, but...
Maybe he'd be more affectionate if he had a Pokemon Egg like Brock had with Happiny.
But besides that, I agree with you all the way

Yeah, Clemont is not very affectionated except with his robots... up until now, he didn't even carry a Pokemon (except Chespin for protection).. Even with Bonnie he's still not affectionated that much 
At first I thought that Bunnelby is the only Pokemon who's not receiving enough love from him, which lead me to write that rant. But after watching the 9th episode it looks to me like all of his Pokemon don't.
Now, I'm relieved that it's not only Bunnelby because it would be sad considering that he just caught it to battle Citroid. But it's worse if he generally treats Pokemon like that. of course he's not a jerk like Paul but still.
And Seeing Bunnelby going to Clemont after each battle.. it either just how it is all the time or maybe it wants affection..
But I know that this will change later. In episode 10, Limone said something like the important thing about journeys is not only to be stronger, but also to bond with Pokemon.
So I'm guessing that this will be the important part of his character development?? And if his role does involve mega evolution like what people say and hope, then his bond with Pokemon will be important.
But it still feels weird for someone who's so caring like him

Well, I've noticed that he's a bit of a loner I guess, and he seems to be the same way with his Pokemon. He really does love his family and his Pokemon deep down, but has trouble showing it. Something tells me it's because of something he went through that made him less affectionate because both Limone and Bonnie are more on the affectionate side compared to Clemont. In fact... I just had a terrible theory on it.... Or two rather. And I'm pretty sure it either has to do with his mom, or some incident with a Pokemon.
A little bit off topic here, but am I the only one who thinks that Clemont is really stressed out with being a gym leader? Granted, he's probably the sort of person who doesn't like to be sitting around, but between being a gym leader, training, inventing, and caring for Bonnie when Limone is out it's got to be tiring.
Anyway, what you were saying yesterday- I've noticed that Clemont is more lenient with Bonnie when it comes to handling Pokemon than May was to Max. I don't know if it's just more strongly enforced in Hoenn, or if different families just have different ways of handling it or what which is how Clemont could have gotten Helioptile before he was 10, and even then, I have a headcanon that he actually just turned 11, giving him roughly a year to be a gym leader.

I don't know, I have thought about it , but no matter what it doesn't make any sense to me, how he quickly made friends with Ash and talking to Serena.. etc. But even loners don't act the same way with animals...

Well Clemont was stressed with being a gymleader, isn't that the reason why he built Citroid in the first place?
That makes sense, I forgot that Clemont's age hasn't been confirmed yet, we assumed it was 10 because of Ash. I wish they confirm it soon, as well as Bonnie's age.

There aren't really any details to it besides either the idea that it could have stemmed from a Pokemon attack, or abandonment issues revolving around his mom. Not saying it is, but it is a possibility.
Yeah, that's where I got the first hint from but honestly, I think he hardly enjoys being a gym leader much anymore. Maybe I'm just going too deep into it, but that's what I'm getting out of it so far
Well, it is safe to assume that he's near Ash's age give or take a few months or years, so really anything goes so long as he's at least ten and it's a reasonable age (like 20 would be pretty off)
