This is the other plush that the next door neighbors got me. I honestly wasn’t expecting to get a Squishmallow plush. I feel like this is karma for making fun of Squishmallows, because I don’t have the heart to get rid of her, but just… ugh I’ve been hating on Squishmallows for so long that loving Lorelai feels almost as if it’s going against my morals, as silly as that sounds. I’m basically stuck with her now. I both love and loathe her at the same time. For context, I don’t actually hate Squishmallows as a whole. I can understand why people like them, and I don’t think they’re bad quality toys. They can be a bit cute at times, and I’ve even had one of my OCs drawn as a Squishmallow before (it was a “heck it, I’m going to ask this person to draw my character as a Squishmallow because it’s free art and why tf not” moment; if that OC of mine as a Squishmallow was a real Squishmallow, I would buy it no questions asked tbh). However, as time went on, I got sicker and sicker of Squishmallows. I just hate toy trends. This reaction of annoyance seems to always happen when a toy gets super trendy (unless I liked it before the trend or if it fits into one of my fandoms). Also, Squishmallows give me a similar vibe as TsumTsums for some reason (probably due to the marshmallow-like bodies, plus the fact that such simple designed plushies got so trendy that I got ticked off by the mere mention of them, because I was that sick of seeing them and such plushies didn’t appeal to me very much in the first place). That’s why I say I don’t like Squishmallows. They annoy the heck out of me like TsumTsums did. I’m stuck with Lorelai though, so I will make one, and only one exception for her! I don’t want anymore Squishmallows after this!
