I happened to see this by accident the other day. I wonder if anyone else has noticed it yet? Kudos to you if you did.The black and white pictures are from Romance Dawn's cover page, the very first chapter of the One Piece manga. Of course the colored pictures are from 598. Nami and Luffy are the only Strawhat crew on the cover page of Romance Dawn so they're the only ones I used. (another hint of the LuffyxNami pairing)
Put next to each other it's interesting to see that both Nami and Luffy are in the same stance as the first chapter and have pretty much the same expression in both. Also, looking at the whole scene on the cover pages they are in the exact same position next to each other.
The only difference being, in the background of chapter 1 is Shanks's crew and the background of 598 is the Strawhat crew.
I found it to be a neat little piece of OP trivia.

Yeah I was the first one to post it on AP forums and Mangashare, although I posted the colorspread version of the old one. Definitely see the brotherly/sisterly bonds Luffy Nami share.

Well now we now where your mind is...(joking) but Nami has been steadily growing bustier as the manga goes on so its no big surprise there. Same as Luffy becoming more muscular.

I know right, it took me a while but I notice it too, so I reread chapter 1 to make sure. Yes finally who actually notice it too, i post some in a forum but it seem like not many notice it. Oda such a genius isn't he
