Well that was a shitty thing to say. The author didn't even proclaim anything like that, they just drew Chara in a menacing way. You don't even know what they meant by that, you just came, assumed, and insulted.
Not only that, Temmie never actually confirmed anything, she just indirectly stated her opinion about the game once or twice.
Basically, you've just called someone an idiot over absolutely nothing. Toby would surely love you.

Chara is not evil
Yeah they called themselves a demon but
-Asriel called himself “the ABSOLUTE god of HyperDeath” even after he regained his feelings
-Sans traumatizes you even if you haven’t done anything wrong
-Asriel wants to kill you 1,000,000 times if that would prevent you from “winning”
-YOU. You killed Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Muffet, Mettaton (and a LOT of random encounters) AND you tried to kill Monster Kid and Sans(chara does the final blow)
And now why are THEY evil? (Is it because they can punish you for a genocide run!?)
-And undyne attacks you several times even if you are pacifist

As much as I agree that Chara isn't evil, they aren't some perfect angel either. To blame us is to blame Chara. Chara is most likely short for character. We can name our character, we can name Chara. Chara is a representation of us in the game. The amount evidence to it is staggering.

nobody in undertale is truly evil toby said so chara is just a kid who did the rouge thing because she was mistreated by humans

Chara did the wrong thing by convincing Asriel to follow through with their plan to kill some humans. They may have done so to break the barrier, but there was still some unwilling sacrifice involved. That is, the lives of the humans. Chara didn't initiate the genocide run, but they still followed you in doing so. They were so broken & soulless, with dark memories pervading their mind that they found they couldn't trust themselves anymore & so looked to you, the player, to prove Asriel right about his pacifism. That you don't always have to fight. By killing EVERYONE, you prove to Chara that you don't only have to fight to survive, but that you have to DESTROY EVERYTHING that could potentially harm you. When you don't kill anyone, you prove that there were ways outside of fighting to deal with the conflicts you were up against, showing that Asriel was right & allowing Chara the peace of mind that not all humans or monsters are bad. In genocide, they see the bad sides of the monsters who try to fight for their lives against you. This causes them to lose their ability to be bothered caring about any person, because they can't seem to see that everyone is both good & bad. Chara is a kid after all & is as imperfect as anyone else. That's what makes them all such great people to be around. None of them are perfect & so we all relate to them on a deeper level than most of the characters we've encountered recently.

The game is still ambiguous, so some of what was mentioned in that theory is up to interpretation. Which means that not everything people say is entirely correct. I like to think Chara isn't a bad kid as described in the video, but with a twist. They clearly weren't happy when they fell down that mountain. Such mistreatment could leave someone psychologically scarred, so I wouldn't be surprised if Chara didn't act entirely nice, even if they cared for the Dreemurr family on a deep level. Doesn't make them evil because of that. What makes them evil is that they were willing to purposefully go out of their way to kill some humans. Even if it was to break the barrier, it still required an unwilling sacrifice from others. So I don't see Chara as an angel or a demon (despite them using such a phrase to add further flavour to the situation). I think that they did the wrong things for the right reasons, like practically everyone else in the game except you. & why? Why didn't they try harder to do the right thing? I'll never understand how people could allow themselves to let go like that...

On the other hand, the option to try all of the timelines has been taken by people, so maybe that's what the lesson of the game is? "Don't do the wrong thing, even for the right reasons"?
