I don't usually upload art relating to the hollidays...simply becuase it usually takes me quite some time to get one done, and because the art I usually work on for the Hollidays is for my wife, ....much like this one, here...but unlike the others, I was so damned proud of this one, I had to post it. :3
So, I asked my lovely Hollie if I could.
She said yes, and here we are.
Posting it a bit early, but, yeah... xDDD
's latest obsession (or rather an obsession we're both reliving) is Snarry.
So, this Valentine's Day, I decided to draw he a lovely little fluffy
fanart gift of the two forbidden lovers. :3

I really wanted to draw Snape looking into Harry's eyes....as they are his mother's.
Those of you who know the novels will get it...those of you who don't, I regret that I will be giving no spoilers, here. xD Go read the books.
I gotta say, this was a lot of fun to draw. D: I was quite surprized how well it came out, concidering I've only really ever drawn them once before. Dx Aaaand that I HATE drawing wrinkles... *Shakes fist at Alan Rickman* Curse you, aged Brittish actor!

Anyways...erm, I used my usual mix of Copics and colored pencils for this one. xD But, I did use a different kind of paper...I used canvas paper to aquire the textured effect with the colored pencil overlay. :3
This only took me a couple of hours, since it's not very big...but, it was a lot more difficult to color than I thought it would be. D:
And I thought big projects were a pain...pfftt. >__>
Eh, well, tell me whatcha think. :3 Favs are awesome, but comments are so much better. ^^

He is Harry's for the taking ;D I've been writing a Snarry on a separate site [started to on here until the usual crap that goes on around Snarry fics started to happen] and as I do not like Ginny, I found a quick and painless [for me anyway] way to get rid of her. I'm quite pleased with myself. Anyway, love how you melded the middle. Lovely job. Oh, and don't mourn for Snape. He didn't die, he's just on vacation. I swear. What kind of Potions master would let himself die from a little snake venom?? Psh.

I know this girl who thinks that the only good pairings are the ones the authors meant to happen, but I explained to her that Snarry was chosen by JKR, she simply didn't write it out completely because she saw what happened with poor Dumbledore's coming out party and didn't want the same to happen to Snape. She made so many obvious hints, I mean come on!
