Actually, a little of both. The story is about a group of humans who are a part of something called 'The Mirror Society'.
They're people from our world used to protect the dimentional boudries.
IE, keeping different realms from mingling when they aren't supposed to.
The Chara on the left and right are displaying their powers, but the boy in the center is just in his human form.

Yes, quite often. And they have to keep it all underwraps.
If the rest of the world were to know, it would risk mass panic. xD
They all train from a very young age, exluding my main character who gets mixed up in it all for a completely different reason.
They rule is, younger children are more likely to fight in the society because younger children are more likely to believe in things that their parents and/or older humans would pass off as just a weird dream.

Yea, I know how you feel. My cousin is an artist *mutter mutter* and he ALWAYS finds something wrong with my pics and would tell me how to perfect them. So I'd go and perfect them and he'd STILL find something wrong. I think he'd just get mad because he went to art school and I can draw better then him hehe. And yea. I wish I had good writing skills too
