Pose taken from "Anatomy for Fantasy Artists". The actual character is mine, and everything about her except her stance- and I'm sure postures are public property anyway
She originally started as a drow (mmm pretty dark elveses) but I couldn't be stuffed with the skin-shading.This picture is, for me, the embodiment of that age-old fantasy artist's battle: "Functional Armour versus Sexy Elf Chick". I was trying for a compromise, but I think the Functional Armour won out here. Pity.

Hooray, Oblivilol! Yeah, the boob-armour is handy. And convenient, as it'd probably be rather painful to wear a normal breastplate for a female- rather ironic, really...

i swear, the neck is the biggest combat design flaw on the human body...
anyways, even though she has an exposed neck, it's still brilliant...

Yeah, but the neck is hard to cover, as mobility of the neck and head is rather necessary- if you put a plate around your neck, you can't see if they're sneaking up behind you
