At about 5pm the other afternoon clouds moved in and created this sepia colored scene from my yard, thunder rolled and a few drops of rain fell...an hour later the sky was completely clear!Related content

I've been watching the news - Texas is like California...feast or famine when it comes to rain...hope the flooding isn't affecting you or any of your loved ones...

It's not effected me directly tho I have any a few people concerned. I've had to send pics to prove it. I have other friends however that have been affected and this area has NEVER EVER seen anything like this. We broke all records and set new ones. Not just for the month but for the year. And there is still some serious issues even tho it stopped raining every day because the water has no where to go. We do not have direct run offs around here really. Mosquitoes are a huge problem that is starting up and last time that happened it started another outbreak of Westnile virus! EEKs! That part scares me because I taste really nummy to those little bastards!
