Inspired to try my hand at a dandilion poof! I kind of liked the fence...caitiekabob says it's distracting - what's the verdict?Check it out full size - little parashoots!

Love it...instant fave, especially because it works so well as a monotone, the focus and contrast are just right, and the fence adds interest and context...without it, this would be just another dandelion shot.

I like the fence in the background - it gives some more structure

The background color was the color of the sky (which was why the fence was there in the first place!) I was shooting toward where the sun was going down

Personally I don't find it too distracting...if it wasn't blurred, then maybe it would be..but, like this..it's a great shot...as is.

No I don't think there is a category for shots of dandilions, but I have seen shots of them for years and yours is among the best technically. Your caught a perfect specimen and got it in perfect focus! regards...
