I've never seen the wild iris in such numbers! I'm glad I was able to find a group that let me get this shot - without falling off the bluff

I like tyhe contrasting colours. The DOF is about perfect too. I always carry cloths pegs in my camera bag, that way I can pin those distracting things out of the way... (Just a little something I learned at the college I studied).... I also carry clear nail polish.... great for temporarily attaching all kinds of things from lenses to filters.

if you need a real HARD hold, nail glue works well.... but I warn you... it can be hard to detach even with nail polish remover.

i have always used glass bottles, and in 35 years I have never had a leak. but I agree, if it ever did leak... what a mess.

I love these flowers! we have some wild ones that grow on our property. Hopefully they will be back again this year.
