we've been wet and dreary and cooooold! The snow is up the mountains from us - right now about half an hour away but there's a forecast of it getting down to us on Thursday... I sure hope it DOESN'T!!! I'm much happier driving up to see it than living in it....

It is nice..now I just have to get up the confidence to learn how to drive in the stuff Luckily CalTrans is very good at getting the highways cleared off pretty quick

we've got friends who live a few blocks from this webcam [link] we use this link to check out the roads LOL

Its fun to drive in,though i do miss rear-wheel drive ...we get so little that its a novelty..

I've driven a bit in light snow but haven't gotten to practice in heavy...we'll be heading up to play in the snow tomorrow, near the snowy link

we had fun!!! snowshoeing is definitely going to be on our list of winter activities (didn't take our cameras - other than phones - wanted to see how walking was without worrying about a Nikon around my neck )

That sounds like so much fun,i can see how a dunking in a snow-bank wouldnt be good for it ..

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the white stuff stays up in the mountains and not down where I live in the foothills we really are not prepared for it as it happens so seldom. I'm perfectly happy having to drive up to it for photos!!!
