Description
Title is a work in progress....So, the basic idea of this AU is that instead of being killed and having their souls taken to Asgore, the fallen humans were instead spared and raised by the monsters.
Some info/differences about this AU
- Time in the underground goes considerably slower than on the surface. 1 year in the underground consists of around 100 years on the surface.
- Over the years, the story of the war between humans and monster has past into legend.
- Over the next 600 years, the kingdom surrounding Mt Ebott have sacrificed one child to the mountain every 100 years, in a superstitious attempt to placate the monsters.
- The humans live in the area where their respective items are kept, (More info on that in a bit.) and are one year apart in age.
- They accompany Frisk in their journey through the underground.
- Each one has a power represented by their soul.
- After neutral the human souls run off and you have to go and get them back
- A lot of the little side quests that cause you to befriend the characters happen after the neutral ending
- After the neutral ending, you need to fight the humans in order to persuade them to come with you.
- Humans are capable of using some magic, though it has to be actively learned through study and it is very weak.
Yellow Soul
Name- Lucky
Age- 13
Lives- MTT Resort
- The last soul you meet and the toughest to convince into coming with you.
- Can use gun but refuses to unless absolutely necessary.
- Will just throw stuff at you when you fight.
- Is rather bitter about his fate.
- Will happily give his soul up if on genocide route.
Green Soul
Name- Alex
Age- 12
Lives- Alphys Lab
- The second to last soul you meet.
- Stays secretly with Alphys.
- Can use the frying pan as a shield
- Knows mild healing magic as well as very weak fire magic
- Is rather naive and a bit too trusting
Purple Soul
Name- Moxie
Age- 11
Lives- With Gerson
- 4th soul you come across
- Lives with Garson, but is first found on the outskirts of Waterfall
- Can cast Trap spells, but kinda sucks at it.
- Fights using words and trying to talk their way out of a situation
- Suborn as heck
Blue Soul
Name- Alice
Age- 10
Lives- In Mettaton's old house
- 3rd soul you meet.
- Is friends with Napstablook,
- Comes to your rescue along with Napstablook when you are attacked by Mad Dummy
- Fights via dancing.
- Is very agile
Orange Soul
Name- Rock
Age- 9
Lives- In Snowdin
- 2nd soul you meet
- Strong and reckless
- Most willing to go with you
Light Blue Soul
Name- Sky
Age- 8
Lives- With Toriel
- The first soul you meet when you first fall into the ruins
- Least willing to follow you

Hmm, interesting. I'm making a AU myself, and one of the details is that time does happen differently inside Mt. Ebott than in the outside world.

um, i have a question. in which order did they each fall down? it would make sense that sky would be last considering she actually stayed with toriel. also, does toriel know that the other humans are still alive. if so, whats to stop her from coming to get them like she did frisk in true pacifist. does ASGORE know? undyne? has she ever ran into alex when visiting alphys, or does she hide him down in the true lab along with the amalgamates? would undyne, being captain of the royal guard, hide a secret like this from the king? would Gerson? is asgore still trying to hunt them down, or have they never made it that far, so he wouldn't know about them yet? i feel like he would know, but pretended not to out of hesitancy to kill them? are ALL monsters underground okay with their tickets to the surface living right under the kings noes, are the kids still getting attaked on a regular basis? and on that note, what about the kids? whats their stats? EXP? LV? had they ever had to kill for their safety. do the kids know about each other, or talk or anything? and if you have to persuade the kids to join you AFTER neutral route, how would flowey get their souls to become photo shop flowey? wouldn't he have to kill them for that?

Ok. In order, XD
-They fell in order from left to right, hens why Yellow is older because he's been in the underground the longest
-Like in the game, Toriel isn't entirely sure about the fate of the souls. She assumes them to be alive, but stays in the ruins in order to look after Sky
-Asgore is kinda aware of them, but chooses to ignore them because...well Asgore. He IS still trying to do the whole war on humanity thing but isn't all that into actively searching for them.
-Undyne on the other hand IS actively searching for them, but since there has been such a short period of time a lot of the monsters don't see the souls as too big a threat, plus their isn't that desperation of wanting to get back to the surface yet. They still get attacked every so often but it's rarely anything too serious. Just the normal encounters you meet in the game.
-Alphys hides Alex in the basement when Undyne comes along.
- Their base stats are roughly the same as Frisk, but the have the added advantages of their weaponry and armor.
- The only one who ever had to kill to defend himself was the Yellow soul. Only once though. As time went on, that number would likely grow, but as of the moment the AU takes place they're all on perma pacifist.
- It depends. Yellow Soul has never met any other the other souls and isn't too aware that their are any. Green soul knows that Yellow soul exists but they have never met. Purple and Blue live next to each other. Orange knows next to nothing about them other than other children fell before him. Sky is unaware that any of them exist.
Probably needs a little more explanation. They tag along with you during the neutral rout. They don't say much and aren't taking things too seriously. You fight the monsters as you do as normal. After the event with Flowey, they all decide on a unanimous "Nope" and head home. It is THEN you have to go on a mini quest to persuade them to come back, during which you have to complete little story snippets.
It's a a WIP, and at this stage I'm not sure whether to have the player face the monsters or children before the Neutral ending or after it. Either way, you fight both.
And yes, he kills them the same way he kills Asgore.

I'm not too sure honestly. This was kinda a whim. Kinda considering a comic or something but I'm always thinking stuff up then getting board.
