Eldin and Lanayru are plays off of Din and Nayru's names. Faron and Ordona are both a play off of Farore. (So so I read in an interview)
Volvagia is missing. I'd help give the meaning for the name, but unfortunately I can't find one other than "Vol" being french for "Flying". But it's Japanese name is Varujia. So... P:
Anyways this is neat and good luck!

I feel proud that Link's name is Irish for "blade", 'cause my name is Irish, too, and I'm Irish. -pride- ^_^
This is cool! You must've worked hard to get these meanings. Good job!
(BTW, my name means "great sorrow" or "melancholy" in Irish. Figure it out if you want to. >D)

Awesome. I think that's really cool that Hyrule is "to enter"! I lot of those really make sense.

Thank you!
I actually adore the Pun-names, especially Tatl and Tael. It gives the series a sort of light-heartedness that is beginning to slowly slip away from the Zelda franchise.

I'm not sure, though.

Hmh, I'm Polish and I never ever heard "Barnes", "Ruto", "Laruto" or "Rutela" used. o__O I and my bro laughed while reading it, sorry for that *but I still think it's somehow funny...*
But in Polish mythology is "The Morning Star" called Zora X'D
Hmmh, some meaning are very interesting, like... Link. Or Ganondorf. Good work with it, sorry I'm no help. I hope You'll find all the meanings on the list one day. ^_^

Yeah, I always thought that Link fit him perfectly since he was the one chosen to wield the legendary Blade of Evil's Bane (Master Sword). Irish is awesome! I'm not Irish myself, but I love Irish music and names and the like. It's so interesting to me, same with Japanese culture.
