Description So I recently discovered the old Mortal Kombat TV show, Mortal Kombat Conquest. It is so bad it is hilarious!

From left to right, top to bottom:

1. A scene from episode three [link] Apparently you can only master the power of ice if you are almost naked. I get not having a shirt for the hot coals thing, but did you really have to take away his pants?
2. [link] I love how Scorpion and Sub-Zero are doing all sorts of over-the-top kung fu, only to have it end with hugging.
3. Paraphrased from Raiden, god of attitude [link] It's near the end of the clip. I know he doesn't look like this in the show, but Raiden needs to wear a hat; he loves hats!
4. Again, what is with the Lin Kuei and the lack of clothing. This is either fan service for the ladies, or their master is really creepy.
5. Every time Scorpion shows up in the TV show or the movies, he always has to use his spear/snake. What does he do while his enemies are dodging that thing? Does he just stand there and chill? You'd think he'd at least try to trip the guy while they're focused on the snake. Maybe Scorpion's just lazy.

The Master is gay and creepy, Scorpion and Subby want to hug it out, Raiden's a hat wearing douche, and Scorpion stands like a statue when he shoots the spear/snake.

That show is so terrible it's hilarious. My favorite character has to be Raiden, god of lighting and sass. I actually see him this way in the games now, so all his lines seem a little sarcastic to me now. Like he's messing with you.

That's the only characterization I like outside of the video games. Usually I don't like the characters as much because I know that's not how they act in the game, but I like Raiden's personality more in the movies/tv then in the game I guess. I like that he's an ageless god, but acts all immature.

Oh God the cartoon. That was so amazingly bad. I loved the one episode with Scorpion, Sub-Zero just unceremoniously pushed him into that pit like he was washing away some leaves or something. That cartoon was so bad it was hilarious.

Yeah, I also think he should make some jokes here and there in the Games, I mean I know fighting Shao kahn is serious business, but yeah, a joke doesnt destroy earthrealm, does it? xD

Also, if he were playing, even if he didn't -- no, wait, I'm thinking so fast right now. He'd totally be one of those players who plays like hundreds of hours to try and get hats, and I bet he wouldn't even know about the Towering Pillar of Hats until someone mentioned it and then he'd be all like "ASHFKDLJS OMGWAITWAT there's a Towering Pillar of Hats!?" and then he'd be playing even harder just for that one hat. Even if he suddenly unlocked a torrent of the others, he'd still be saying "Must... get... Towering... Pillar... of Hats!"

That's the real reason why he sends the heros of EarthRealm to win Mortal Kombat instead of using his godly powers to win it himself. He's too busy trying to win hats. But he wouldn't idle to try and get hats. That is for cheaters and he is a good god.
