I've heard of the barakapool character, He is an awful lot like baraka from MK which kinda made me wonder why they did this. Still, emo spidey is the worst Marvel idea in mah opinion.

Nah, Barakapool was the worst. Deadpool is the merc with the mouth whose power is to heal super fast. Barakapool had his mouth sealed shut, laser eyes, and swords coming out of his arms. They didn't even make Deadpool have all his gross tumors. It was crap!
Deadpool's one of my favorite comic book characters in case you haven't noticed.

Deadpool would work nicely in many worlds. He's such an oddball, he doesn't completely fit in any world, including his own. That kinda makes him more appealing, so it's better that he's sort of at ends with whatever universe he is currently in.
