I started this yesterday with the intention of going for a pencil aesthetic. So I began with smudged charcoal and tried to lay down the forms loosely. But I came back to it today and completely forgot about that and just continued it as a digital painting, I only realised this when I looked at the timelapse (I’m a little sleep deprived). One thing I paid particular attention to was trying to make my transitions clearer. Often they are a little muddy and its something I want to correct. Overall I like how this turned out, I haven’t done a black and white piece in a while so that was nice to come back to.
