I find that I really like artwork which is simple but expressive. I’m not sure how to do this but I’d like to convey a lot with very little. So in this piece I've tried to experiment by incorporating some line work, most obviously in the outline and in some places like the hands where my paintings in the past haven’t been the clearest. Very often I find that my paintings of hands are often a little muddy and unclear. All in all I don’t think this is exactly what I had in mind. I think I slightly over did the line work, but I’m going to keep experimenting with sharper lines as I think it would be a cool thing to be able to use when it’s needed.
