Canadian Chupacabra....BLASPHEMY! Everyone knows a chupacabra can't survive in the frozen wilderness that is the Canadian tundra! if the cold doesn't kill them the Kodiak Marmoset will!

You should consider making small coloring/inking tutorials. I've been keeping track of your work for almost six years, and dammit I can't figure out how you get smooth lines like that... Awesome job as always!

if youre interested in some help with smooth lines though that doesnt require a steady hand or cintiq, check out paint tool SAI. Β i havent tried it personally yet (going to very soon) but i hear it has some line stabilizing controls that give really smooth results

I heard the same thing about Paint tool SAI, I'll try it out and see what's up.

thanks much glad you like the look. honestly im not doing anything special, just drawing the lines. ive always had a very very steady hand though because when i was young i worked with real ink a lot. so you got one shot with the line and there was no going back.
I cant do inking with a normal wacom - i can only get these results by using a cintiq or real media

Whoa, I would have never been able to tell that you Β free-handed those! Β I definitely don't have steady hands, well, enough to get these type of results. I use the pen tool in photoshop to get straight, decent lines while inking, but for some reason they end up pretty badly pixelated after I color and shade. What I do like though, is how you've colored the lines relative to the picture, rather than using black lineart. It flows so well! I might have to try experimenting with it.Β

all the comic art was done by hand with mechanical pencil. the lines were thin enough that i didnt have to color them. when im doing the digital, the lines are bolder and it helps to color them! its also fun to do
