This is what I always expected Samus to look like after playing the original game.

This picture is just what I search the metroid tag for so tirelessly. She looks like what you'd expect from someone like Samus Aran. Her expression is very intense, and conveys that she is someone with a goal, an initiative, and not to get in her way. These kinds of gems are hard to find anymore since I swear half of them are pictures of Samus with huge boobs looking like some over sexualized, eye candy, slut with implants. You just nailed the essence of what this woman probably would be like given her experiences and goals. So much love for this.

Pretty awesome. I love the way she looks. You can really see her personality here. A lot of people make Samus out to be this horny little hottie in space suit, but you've truly captured her real side. She's bitter and revengeful. Fantastic work.

What's really cool about the history of these games, I think, is the long period between Super Metroid and Metroid Prime. It was really amazing for me to Samus' jump from the 16-bit era all the way to the 128-bit era!
