You could still remember the very first time you have met Michelangelo. He was so outgoing, not even thinking about being odd. He went up to you, like there was nothing to it. Like it was perfectly normal to be a mutant turtle.

To him, of course, it was absolutely normal, plus he rarely talked to humans, except for April. You have been the second one he had met and of course you have been scared at first. Who wouldn’t be?

But as soon as he started talking, the fear you felt washed away. He was totally carefree talking to you like you have been friends for a long time and he never changed the way he talked to you in all this time.

“Yo! Are you going top side?” Mikey asked without looking away from his favorite videogame.

“I do. Why? Do you need anything?” you answered while putting on your jacked.

“I’m always up for some pizza!” he chirped before pausing his game to give his best puppy eyed look he could muster.

“Mikey!” you groaned before looking away.

If only he knew what he was doing to you. You deverloped a crush on him, shortly after you got to know him better. You loved his carefree attitude and his innocence.

Not that kind of innocence most people would think about...

Mikey saw the world in a childs kind of way. He had a pure and kind heart. Every being would be treated with kindness and respect as long as it remained kind in return. He believed in the good of people until they proved him wrong. You admired him for that. Everybody would be treated the same, no matter who or what they are. Mutant, Animal or Human it didn’t mattered to him, he was willing to welcome them all into his life.

He did so with you,as he did with his adorable pet cat Klunk and you knew he would stop at nothing to protect the ones he cares about.

Besides that, Mikey never fails to make you laugh. No matter how down you might feel, he would goof around, play pranks on Raph and get slapped by said turtle afterwards until he succeeds in making you laugh.

He really was special like that, but since he was a mutant and you were human, you were kind of affraid to tell him about your feelings. You were affraid that he wouldn’t take it seriously. So you kept you mouth and heart shut.

So you went top side to buy some much needed groceries, since the guys couldn’t do it on their own. Of course you bought some ingredients for a homemade pizza, too.

You immediately headed back to the lair, after finishing your shopping spree.

You heard Raphael shout even before coming close to the entry.

“Mikey! Get back here, you annoying pest!” Raphaels voice was booming throughout the tunnels. You couldn’t help but smile and wonder ehat he did this time.

Without hesitation you entered the kitchen to put away the goods and just when you were about to finish this task, you felt someone grap your waist and a body pressing itself into your back.

You heard that someone snicker.

“Don’t give me away. Raphs been chasing me for a while now. He might will be searching my room next.” Mikey wispered into your ear and you couldn’t stop the blush from raising to your cheeks at the feel of his warm breath caressing your neck.

He has never before been this close to you.

“Mike...” you whispered but he hushed you, before you could speak out his nickname.

“Just wait and listen.” he chuckled while squeezing your hips slightly.

You had to bite back a moan. Damn, was he doing this on purpose?

“Mikey! I swear the moment I’ll find you, you’ll regret....” before Raph could finish his rant, you heard a loud crash, followed by a terribly angry shout of Mikeys full name.

Mikey couldn’t hold back a loud laugh while pulling your body closer to his.

“That’s a classic!” he laughed, but as soon as Raph appeared in the doorframe he went dead silent.

“Yeah! Ha ha, Michelangelo. Just wait till I’ll get ma hands on ya and we’ll see who’s been laughin’ next.” Raph threatened before stepping into the kitchen.

“Cut me some slack, bro. I told you to not go into my room, remember?” he asked and you started to feel a little bit more nervous with standing in between Raph and Mikey.

“Yeah, yeah. Now stop hidin’ behind yer girlfriend and face me.” Raph growled.

In an instant your blush returned full force and you heard Mikey snicker.

“Your just jealous, because I’m handsome enough to get one and not some ugly mug like you are.” he joked and before Raph could get close enough he vanished.

But not before kissing your cheek lightly.

Immediatly Raph speeded off after him while roaring Mikeys name.

You, on the other hand, still stood there in the kitchen dumbfounded while lifting your hand up to your cheek, where Mikey had kissed you and in that moment you realised that he hadn’t even protested when Raph called you his girlfriend.

You couldn’t stop the smile from spreading out on your lips.
