Alex: I have no clue where my home town is…and my home has probably either been demolished or sold to someone else.

Ed: what about your family?

Alex: My mum and dad aren’t with me anymore, theres probably other members out there somewhere but I’ve never seen them.

Ed: I’m sorry…

Looking down reminding him of his situation from the past as he voice croaked with a quiet tone as Alex just sighed.

Alex: I never met my mother, she died giving birth to me and for a long time after that I always resented being born because I took her life away. But as I got older I lived with it and excepted that was life, and my father died some years after of a disease that they found to late to cure him.

Ed: how old were you?

Alex: probably around 11 years old, around that time Major Hughes found me and took me in with Glacier. He told me that they planned to have a daughter some day and that I might be good practice, soon he found out that I had a skill of remembering a large amount of information so he tried to get me a job in the Military – but naturally Mustang denied it. Eventually Hughes` stubbornness came through and I received a desk job as his personal secretary, now I’m here.

Hughes and Alex. Father and Daughter doesn't always have to mean blood. Rest in Peace Maes Hughes.
