Finally, something NOT mlp related!Who better to re-introduce original arts than my favorite pair of dragonian twins, Eli and Isabel?

Hooyay! More of the adorable... the... wait, what is their family name? After all this time, did we ever get a last name for Rodric? 
Poor little Isabel, Eli seems to really take after his rough 'n tumble mom too often.

I designed Rodric with a bit of old German mythology in mind. Rodric's parents, as you can see, have pretty much regular wings. (I need to post Sabene's re-design. OTL They were both poorly designed, in my opinion, but Sabene NEEDS to be fixed. 
BACK TO THE POINT
Diskal's past was linked to Wyrms, and wyrm's are from old Germanic mythology. So, Diskal's name is distinctly German. Feuermund is the closest thing in "human tongue" that a dragon can come up with. Feuermund is German for "Fire mouth", and the wyrm in the bloodline was known for his gruesome habit of holding a creature in his mouth and slowly baking the creature insode, burning him in a painfully timed death for no other reason that because he could. Diskal says that the name's from the obvious fact that his family are fire dragons, and they got the name from breathing, what else, fire.
I still can't believe I've never told anyone. OTL How could I have forgotten all this time? I can't believe I've never even typed it out. Maybe it's the deep rooted "bleh" of the fact that this was his original name years ago, and I don't have the heart to change it to something cooler. |D

Ah-hah, so they'd be the Feuermund family? lD Goodness, hopefully all that nasty was bred out of him by this point, 'cause Ferellian dragons are known for being particularly quick-tempered and nasty when angered as well. Definitely don't need the kids getting a double dose of nasty in their blood. D: Fortunately, Ferellians aren't known for being needlessly violent, but upon provocation, it doesn't take much for things to get bloody. Ironic that the wyrm was known for executing like that, given that's one of Dyna's signatures when fighting in summon form. Not slowly and painfully, but gripping whatever body part is available (particularly the head) and blasting until the fire is hot enough to become viscous and cause severe continuous damage throughout the battle, as well as "splash off" to other parts of the body during movement to further debilitate the foe. Assuming she's shaken free before death, that is.
