Description yep. made a cute little LITTLE mew to keep my ivysaur
company. |3

actually, I really made this to test out different patterns for head shapes. Testing to see what would make a nice round head for Zoey. This one was okay, but I think I'll need some darts in the cheeks, and a deeper slope in the muzzle. this is just too round.

anyway, it took me about 5 minutes to sketch out a pattern (seriously. I have had lots of practice. ), 10-15 minutes to cut out the peices (yeah...I'm not so good a cutter. OTL) and after sewing TWO peices backward, and spending about 13 minutes trying to turn her tail right side out without ripping the fabric, the rest of the time was actual hand sewing. (I'm so scared of sewing machines. They're dying to bite my fingers off, I know it! D|)

She is complete! expect more tests in the future, and one day soon a good ol' Zoey plushie.

Do you mind if I ask how you make the limbs rotate? Is it just stitched through? For being done so fast it's so cute!

Oh goodness, she's cute! And movable limbs, too? Will the Zoeys be like that, too?

Kayla-san In reply to HoppityandBee [2010-10-07 03:26:54 +0000 UTC]

well, If I make Zoey the size I'm hoping to make her, moving limbs wouldn't work. they would fall off.. BUT isn't a big floppy Zoey better that a tiny moving one?

HoppityandBee In reply to Kayla-san [2010-10-08 00:23:05 +0000 UTC]

Oh goodness, yes! Big stuffed animals are way better, indeed! Once I have collected a Zoey, I wonder if I could also put in for a Belle, even if she's using the same pattern as Zoey? I'd be more than willing to pay plenty extra for other fabric colors, too! But if you'd rather stick to Zoeys, that's cool, too, I still needs to collect me one either way.

I am SO sorry they aren't ready yet though....I'm scared to death of the sewing machine, and keep finding reasons to put making her off. And sure you could! I would just tuck the belly in some, and it's a Belle! That would be so cool.....

lol, well don't forget, we're not doing you a favor by buying them, you're doing us a favor by making them.

And oh goodness, a new Belle plush would be super awesome.

but I feel bad for making yall wait so long!

and I love your old belle too. Too bad you said she was getting alittle...uhm....loose in the stitching. If We lived closer, I would run by and fix her up in a jiffy.

lol, yes, I can't snuggle anymore 'cause her head's getting a little floppy. Fortunately, Chanterelle is still just as solid as ever. I don't sleep so well without my stuffies. lD

Poor Belle! I can see that drawn out in a comic now. |D or better yet, Frankie with the floppy head, since he does have stitching, and it would make more sense.
