This girl shouldn't even exist yet. ΒTabassum, y u here?!
Long story short ~the-carolyn-michelle and I have rp-ed a side FH roleplay we call "The Gardens" Which is an AU to Bonfire role play timeline, in which Ramanga is captured by the Turks who already own Eshe, and he is forced to 'grow up' in the gardens, until he and his enthusiastic partner (Which he's reluctant to take on at first) can escape.
Ofcoursenothingeverstaysasplannedandthesetwohavecubs. BC We haven't even gotten that far in the role play, and BAM Tabassum throws her clownish head in like "AYE! Whatcha doin'?!" And poof. Drawing. BC I BLAME MINDY GLEDHILL'S "CIRCUS GIRL".
So yeah. I'll explain more of the role play to anyone who asks, but for now it's midnight and I must get with the sleepies.

She's SO super precious with her back story! ;u;
The garden has a system of worth/value set up by the turks where blue eyed creatures are the highest priority for gifting purposes. So, the animals are bred to have blue eyes.
Of course, not everyone is perfect, even with blue eyes, so there are different ranks among the creatures that way to (once again, established by their owners)
Β Where there are guards (beautiful, but not breed worthy, being muscular and obedient tempered.),
Β Entertainers (They can be beautiful, but it's not required. These are once again obedient, though not strong or intimidating enough to be guards, or have a physical disability that prevents them from doing other jobs.),
Breeders (you can guess, these guys are perfection.),
Fighters (which is what Ramanga was first captured for, in the rp, to grow into a blood sport lion, put in a pit with other animals until he was killed by an animal or the turks. Thankfully he and Eshe are little liars and he manages to assume a tamed behavior, paired with his blue eyes, making him rise to possible guard status until they can escape.),
Aaaand then there are the pelts. These are for the creatures who don't have nice eyes, good pelts, and otherwise sickly bodies. Nothing good for them but to be fed to the other animals after tanning their pelts.
SO YEAH. The turks gauge the value of the creature at a young age and paint them in temporary marking paint to establish where they'll be slotted for their life. If they grow up and fill the position planned for them, their fur is dyed/bleached and dyed so that the markings are there forever, renewed every year or so. Eshe's facial markings were the "Gift Breeder" Variety, so before she came to Bonfire in the 'real' role play, she was supposed to be sent off to a neighboring kingdom for breeding purposes.
No markings mean the cub's meant for pelting, because they don't want to spoil the fur.Β
They have a litter, and jealous Eshe bro-butt-face manages to snag a cub and hide it away while the slotting goes on, and replaces it when they're done painting so one of Ramaeshe cubs are paintless, leading the parents to heart break.
THAT'S NOT TABA THOUGH. She's born with cloudy, not pristine blue eyes, and she's partially, if not nearly completely deaf. So, seeing how pretty and well mannered she is, the turks take her and paint her for the entertainer role.
