This, for some reason, is totally captivating. A BIG part of my love of art is not having a clue why I like something - just a feeling. This feels lovely. It's free, it's direct, it's very confident and it's simple. It just hits home!
The confident part is interesting because, not only does the style show total confidence with every mark, the subject itself exudes confidence too. A high heeled boot. It exhibits a confident sexuality, albeit cultivated and liked by males such as myself! This takes the edge off the experience of this drawing, but not in a negative or detrimental way. It is entirely positive. A reminder. The drawing seems to stamp, quite literally. There is a double edge to this, I think. A female high heeled boot stamping female sexuality and authority, taking from the male something which he once so unreasonably possessed - control and domination of the fairer sex. Yet she suffers with the discomfort that such a heel can give. Somehow it seems totally inane to mention that!

I like that you have cut this from the page and mounted it. It isolates it and lifts it well, I think.
Simple pencil. I love your description. Pencil is an overlooked medium unless it is seemingly portraying something in a photographic style! In that case I always prefer the photograph, like, what's the point! In this case, it has the all-important ingredient in the drawing - you! This is a drawing with soul and feeling. I think this comes through in the title - "Boot". Succinct, to the point, emotional and emotionless. Open to interpretation. Ambiguous.

I will indeed! You are very good. Feedback is SO important. It's why we're all here after all, to exhibit, yes, but also to look and comment. We can learn a lot by commenting and looking as well as hearing what others have to say about our own work, I think.
I have to regulate myself on dA! It's totally addictive and I can end up on here all day, and all night, sadly, if I'm not careful! Nevertheless, not many actually ask for more feedback so I will put you to the top of my little list, darling, OK?

The simplicity of reality confirmed by the mind - producing, reducing the image to an image - trough the door and take a hike - trough the paper hole following white rabbit - untill the clock strikes 12 - and one boot is left on the white paper.
