Description
This is the template that I used to create my Elements of Harmony Clow Cards. Just to explain a few things about this when if you decide to use it:

1) The template has five layers: the Kanji/English name, the card face, the character image, the card background, and the reference layer.
2) For the name layer, the kanji goes in middle of the sun at the top of the card face and the English name or whatever language you decide to use goes on the scroll underneath the moon.
3) The character image layer is where you want to draw your character. It's not really required, but it makes it a lot easier to work with.
4) The card background is just a single purple rectangle. I put it on its own layer so that it could hidden to make it easier to trace from your reference image.
5) The reference layer is explanitory.
6) The template should come with five preset colors that I used for my cards. The dark brown was used the outline of the character with the cream color being the fill. The two purples were accent colors, like Twilight's mane and for cutie marks. The black and white were used for shadows and shines, respectively. Even though I used these colors, you can use whatever colors you wish.
7) The width and height are strictly to taste. I put them there so that all my cards would be the same size for the most part. The final size is completely up to you.
8) You can use this template however you wish on two conditions. Credit me if you use it and send me a link to the cards you make. I'd love to see what you come up with!
