Here Comes a Thought

I don’t really talk about this a lot, but I suffer from high-functioning depression. I am an empath by nature, and this trait of mine causes my depression to be amplified to the point where I can’t focus. Most of the time by the end of the day I am so mentally exhausted that I don’t want to do anything; I completely lose interest in everything that once brought me joy: art, video games, drawing I mean everything. But I’m working to overcome the constant bombardment of emotions that I deal with on the daily, and it’s difficult… It’s really hard, I’m not gonna lie. Drawing my emotions has been a really good way to help release these pent up emotions. I may try to do this more often. If you or someone you know suffers from depression, please reach out.
