i really admire roller derby girls.i sketched it and everything before i realized i didn't give her any derby gear, i.e. helmet, knee and elbow pads. but i guess tha's why she's so beat-up!
edit: had to slap on a watermark, because i keep hearing from people that this is all over the interwebs i guess, and people are asking if i stole my own artwork, so yeah.

In response to the link associated with the Kamloops Roller derby, The pic was submitted by an affiliate as a potential team logo. The admin of our league realized right away it was a copy of someone's work, and we have not used it. Many apologies, we definitely do not want to be accused of using someone elses work. I will be taking it down right now. Do love your work though.

On another note,
We had removed our original link to that picture long before i came across the issue, but the second link that was posted in the comments by la dauphine is not ours, I dont know who owns it, but i cannot get it down at any rate.
As an artist myself I am well aware how frustrating it can be to try and protect your work. I am new in the position of art director for KRDA, and I addressed any and all issues of copyright when i took this position, and I am sorry that your work was copied in that way (and yes poorly - it definitely didnt do the original any justice).
