Djehuti, otherwise known by his Greek name Thoth, is the Netjer of Wisdom, Knowledge, Astrology, Astonomy, Writting and Scribes. He is also the Name that is credited for adding five extra days to the calender in a game of chance against Kohnsu, the Moon God.
The background inspiration comes from a photograph that was taken of the pyraminds at dawn for a National Geographic Megazine Special Edition.

*** Thanx *** Yes, indeed, I wrote about caduceus just because I was searching a nice image of it... Normally I don't do it... I like very much the symbolic of caduceus (yoga n kundalini)... I apreciate very much your kemetic wisdom, I worshiped and loved Egyptian Gods all my lifes and now I finished to built a beautiful egyptian temple where I want to practice the rituals, I see you know well the names in kemetic... I miss the kemetic language very much, for singing in adoration too... Any advice or information you feel giving me is welcome!! *** May Aset sparkles rainbow stars on you and Djehuti shine the Univers's wisdom on your Being *** Amon-Ra ***

The Caduceus is a roman symbol, not an egyptian one.
In Kemetic practice, the Lion Goddess Sekhmet is typically where physicians sought help from. Djheuti is not just a scribe and the one who brought writing to mankind, but is also a trickster God as well.

Very beautiful
though a note, he was first reguarded as a god of the moon, Thoth played many roles in his most infinite wisdom.
Then over the years the people of Hellas (the Greeks) identified him with Hermes (Thrice Great Hermes) which is when his other roles came into light, as well as being a god of the moon and messenger of the Gods, he is known for his skills of magic, writing, physics, geometry, wisdom, astronomy, astrology. As well as his role in the process of weighing the feather of truth against the heart of the dead, he was said to have written the first book.

He is my patron, hence my wide knowledge of his skills.

Yes, I realise that Djehuti covers a wide array of skills. He is also technically a trickster God, who actually added five extra days to the calender when he tricked Ra at a game of dice and got enough light from Ra to make those five extra days so Nut could give birth to her five children.

You're not his only devotee.

You are welcome! Are you going to do anything else with it? Like make some copies and pla with colors or aging the paper, to give it a aged looked? I was also thinking a little wash of color would also be cool. Just a few ideas! And again wonderful work!!

Not sure if I am going to add colour to this, as I think the graphite speaks on it's own.
I might try digitally aging it, making it look like it was on papyrus or something, but only for shits and giggles if anything.
Nothing serious.
